Last Will & Testament of Michael Mandeville


This is the last will and testament of Michael Mandeville of Kent Street Southwark in the County of Surrey Rope Maker first
I direct that all my just debts and funeral Expenses and the charge of proving this my will be paid and satisfied by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter
named and after payment and satisfaction thereof I give and bequeath unto William Jones of Kent Street aforesaid Oilman my Exor hereinafter
named the Sum of twenty pounds of lawful money to be paid to him within one month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto
Josiah Bowlings of Aldermary Churchyard London the Sum of twenty pounds of like money to be paid to him within one month next after my decease
I also give and bequeath unto him the said Josiah Bowlings All my wearing Apparel Also I give and bequeath unto Mary Ann Dodd wife of
William Dodd the Sum of twenty pounds of like money to be paid to her within one Month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto
my Servant Jane Elliott now living with me the Sum of twenty pounds of like money to be paid to her within one month next after my decease
Also I give and bequeath unto Richard Cummings of Stoke Newington to Richard Burt of Kent Street aforesaid and to four other persons who shall
be invited by my Exors and Extrix hereinafter named to attend my funeral if they attend accordingly the Sum of two Guineas each for a Mourning
Ring Also I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Stanhope Mandeville All and singular my household Goods Books plate linen and China
to and for her own use and benefit Also I give and bequeath unto my Son Robert Mandeville All my Utensils in trade and so much
Stock in trade as shall amount to the sum of five hundred pounds the same to be ascertained by a competent person but in case the same
shall not be of that value then I direct that the same shall be made up to amount in cash out of my personal Estate within one
month after my decease Also I give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife Stanhope Mandeville All and singular my real and Leasehold
messuages or tenements Lands and premises with their appurtenances situate and being in the County of Surrey or elsewhere to have and hold
the same unto her the said Stanhope Mandeville and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately
after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same messuages or tenements lands and premises with their and every of their appurts
Subject to and charged and rechargeable with the payment of the Annuity or yearly Sum of fifty pounds hereinafter mentioned and given to
